Job Description
Set sail as 3rd Officer on a container vessel with OSM Thome. You will be part of a strong deck team, supporting safe navigation, cargo operations, and daily ship routines on worldwide routes.
- **Key responsibilities**:
- Assist the bridge team with safe navigation and watchkeeping
- Carry out cargo watch and assist in loading and discharging operations
- Monitor deck equipment and report any defects or safety issues
- Assist with safety drills, inspections, and maintenance of safety gear
- Prepare and update logs, checklists, and other deck paperwork
- **Requirements**:
- Valid 3rd Officer / OOW (Deck) certificate, meeting STCW requirements
- Previous experience on container vessels preferred
- Good English communication skills
- Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
- Prefers with valid US Visa
