As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting the accounting team with daily tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This is a contract position based in Os Norway. While prior experience is not required, a strong aptitude for numbers and attention to detail are essential.
Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable duties including invoice processing and payment reconciliations
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with month‑end close processes including balance sheet reconciliations
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
