Job Summary
The General Ledger Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for reviewing all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and supervising a team of accountants. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and develop a team.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the general ledger accounting functions including but not limited to Cash, Prepaids, Fixed Assets, Intangibles, Leases, Compensation Accounting (Payroll, SBC, PTO, Bonus accruals, etc.).
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Review and approve journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive financial reports for management.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
