JOB DESCRIPTION

: The Accounting/Collections Assistant works in the Accounting Department and their primary responsibility is supporting and working with BSC members who cannot pay their rent on time. In conjunction with the Accounting/Office Supervisor and Accounts Receivables Specialist, the duties of this position will include negotiating and approving payment arrangements in accordance with BSC procedures. This may mean explaining current payment policies to members, assisting with payment arrangement processing/tracking and in the A/R database and Excel, producing financial reports, and maintaining email correspondence to ensure that members are in compliance with their payment schedule.
