Sharp Consultancy is working with a globally recognised business based in Sheffield looking for an Accounts Assistant on a full‑time permanent basis.
You will be working within a team of five finance professionals in a great work environment and culture.
Main duties of this role
- Daily cash posting
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with preparation and closing the ledger at month end
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the wider finance team when required
- General ad‑hoc duties such as filing, scanning, etc.
Skills and experience required
- Previous experience and good knowledge of accounting routines including month‑end reconciliations
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Good communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of the system Kerridge (desirable not essential)
