This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual with expertise in health and well-being to support lifestyle interventions within the local community. The successful candidate will facilitate access to physical activity groups in their area and provide information about various activities suitable for all abilities.
The role involves collaborating with leisure and third‑sector organisations and utilising behaviour change methods to assist adults over 18 in becoming more active. This may include referrals to classes provided by Rotherham Healthwave, local providers, or more specialised services.
Working closely with multiple teams, the Coach will gain an understanding of local challenges and collaborate with colleagues to find practical solutions. The aim is to help individuals develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to change their health‑related behaviours, ultimately improving their overall quality of life, health, and well‑being.
