Additive Engineering Technician

Summary

/Objective: TheAdditive Engineering Technician will be responsible for providing the Additive Manufacturing Engineering Team with technical support to help produce prototype and production components. The AdditiveEngineering Technician’s primary role will be to setup 3D printing machines,carry out 3D prints, and conduct part post processing.

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:

Monitor and fulfill orders coming through the Prototype Work Center

Effectively communicate with requesters from multiple departments (Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, etc)

Effectively convert CAD models to print files ensure the machine and process are properly set up

Carryout successful printing of 3D partsusing multiple 3D printing platforms

Conduct material, part, and machine changeover on multiple 3D printing platforms

Utilize work instructions, prints, and other engineering documentation to carry out standard work
