JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Interviews and inputs demographics on patients registering for services including registrations by phone (pre-registration). Maintains confidentiality of patient information and knowledge of Consent Manual. Obtains copies of insurance cards, and patient or representative signature on appropriate forms. Maintains awareness of contract requirements for authorizations in an outpatient setting, and verifies proper insurance authorizations have been obtained by patient at time of registration.
