ADVANCED ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN
Reports To: Production Manager, ABU
Department: Assembly Business Unit (ABU)
Location: Collingwood, ON
Job Type: Full-time permanent
Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000

The Advanced Assembly Technician is a new role and is a skilled technical role that supports the manufacturing of the Thin Line Towed Array product line and acoustic products with active electronics. This position requires strong hands‑on assembly capability, above-average technical aptitude, and the ability to learn novel processes involving electronics, precision wiring, encapsulation, and system integration.
The role includes complex operations, such as electronics troubleshooting, computer‑assisted testing, data entry, and technical documentation. The technician will support prototype builds as well as mature product builds.
