Job Description
Drive innovation as an Advanced Mechanical Engineer at Photon Control Inc., a subsidiary of MKS Inc. Work remotely on developing next-generation optical sensor solutions for semiconductor fabrication.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead mechanical design efforts in the Advanced Development group, closely collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team. This role emphasizes design, testing, and optimizing advanced optical sensors, requiring strong skills in thermal and mechanical simulations as well as complex system fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and development of optical sensor technology platforms
• Conduct thermal and mechanical simulations for new sensor development
• Collaborate cross-functionally for next-generation sensor characteristics
• Lead projects from requirement definition through implementation
• Source components by communicating with suppliers
