About the job Algorithm Engineer (ECC) We are looking for a senior algorithm engineer with a specialty in error correction codes (ECC) for the optical communication market. As an Algorithm Engineer you will be part of the R&D group developing next generation coherent optical transceivers for DCI with data rates of 800Gbps and 1600Gbps . You will design, simulate, and optimize error correction codes algorithms. You will interact with many different teams such as: System, VLSI, Design Verification and FW. Key Responsibilities: Design and simulate ECC architectures, define key capabilities, performance requirements and drive specifications for digital and firmware designers. Develop and simulate ECC algorithms and integrate these algorithms with the MODEM simulation. Work with designers to ensure circuit architecture can be efficiently implemented.
