Application engineer drives the solutioning and technical assessment of the desired business outcome and objective. He or she ensures that the implementation of projects, change requests and operational tasks are according to timeline, budget and scope.Responsible for translating business requirements to systems configuration and architecture.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understands business requirements and processes and is able to translate it to technical language - vice versa.
Drives the solutioning and assessment of requirements during project implementation phases and maintenance activities.
Creates and updates solution plan documents, functional specifications and/or technical specifications.
