Job Description
- At least 1-2 years of working experience as application support
- Primary skills: UNIX, SQL, Basic Java, Perl, PostgreSQL
- Must be highly technical, analytical and detail oriented.
- Must be able to work both independently and as a team player as needed by the task
- Must be proactive and take initiative on handling tasks
- Creative thinker in terms of diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, identifying and developing methods to automate/improve new/existing procedures
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Ability to communicate clearly on technical matters with non-technical people.
- Willing to work on production support
- Availability and willingness to work on a 24x7 shift assignment (including weekends, holidays)
- Work experience in a support-oriented environment and willing to do support work/tasks
- Adapts to changing workload and assignments depending on the demand
