Role Overview

Springdale Primary School is an inclusive primary school located in Wolverhampton. We are seeking an Apprentice Teaching Assistant for Key Stage 2, with work starting September 2026.

Salary: £8.00 per hour (apprentice pay scale). 33.50 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

You will provide support to the class teacher to create a nurturing and effective learning environment for children.

Key responsibilities include preparing the classroom, setting up and clearing activities, supporting pupils with reading and numeracy, assisting with lesson planning and managing classroom behaviour.

You will have the opportunity to learn and develop classroom support skills alongside gaining a Level 3 apprenticeship with Heart of England Training.
