Job Description
Lead aquatics initiatives at Port Colborne YMCA as a full-time Program Coordinator. Manage swim programs and engage with members to achieve their aquatic goals.
This maternity leave contract runs for 12 months with a possible extension. You will organize swim programs according to YMCA of Niagara Guidelines and engage members for optimal retention. Key aspects include budget management, staff supervision, and ensuring service excellence within the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize efficient swim programs per health regulations
• Engage with members to maximize retention
• Manage departmental budget and staff recruitment
• Act as back-up instructor as needed
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma or degree
• Current National Lifeguard certification
• 5 years of aquatics workplace experience
• 3 years of supervisory experience
• Current First-Aid with CPR C certification
