Overview

In this role you will support the Arbitration and conciliation functions by facilitating and influencing the dispute process within Workers' compensation legislative requirements. You will review and evaluate claims-based evidence, conduct thorough investigations of witness accounts, and make recommendations in accordance with work cover legislation if a disputed matter proceeds to arbitration or conciliation. You will attend the Work Injury Commission (WIC) as part of facilitating the disputes process, contributing to arbitration hearings and conciliation conferences, reviewing and submitting claims evidence, negotiating settlements and ensuring timely resolution.
