Job Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented individual to join our Engineering Team as the Assistant Powerhouse Chief at Highbury Canco Corporation.
Responsibilities
Assist in ensuring the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of a 1st Class high‑pressure steam plant, including cogeneration systems, boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, ammonia refrigeration, air scrubbers, and related equipment.
Support the planning, scheduling, and direction of 2nd Class Operating Engineers and external contractors in carrying out corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
Ensure all required operational logs, utilities logs, records, and CFIA/quality documentation are completed, reviewed, and properly maintained for audit and compliance.
Support the Chief Engineer in maintaining compliance with Ontario TSSA regulations and assist with required inspections and regulatory requirements.
