Our client, a top-tier professional services firm , is looking for an Assistant Controller to help lead a growing, forward-thinking finance team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys owning the details while helping shape the bigger picture.

You’ll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, lead a team of two accounting clerks, and partner closely with the Controller on strategic priorities and special projects—including an upcoming accounting system upgrade.

What you’ll do:

• Mentor, and develop a small accounting team
• Oversee full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance, strong internal controls, and accurate reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, and year-end
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
