Associate Software Engineer C/C++ - Package Management (RPM), (Brno Office, Czech Republic)

The Red Hat Software Management team (https://github.com/rpm-software-management/) is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be part of a distributed team and will develop and maintain RPM and related components. Good candidates should have an interest in Linux software development and software engineering in C or C++. You should also have an understanding of how to debug application problems.



**What you will do**



+ Design and implement new features and fix bugs in RPM, a command-line driven package management system

+ Contribute automated tests to continuous integration (CI) systems

+ Communicate with developers, customers, and users, and collaborate with them to provide code matching their expectations

+ Review patches and provide feedback to community-oriented enhancements and bug fixes
