Job Description
Migration and Technical Leadership:
Ensure the use of Ørsted's standard solutions and AWS technologies for all migrations
Identify and address technical gaps by liaising with internal AWS development teams
Oversee the migration of databases, focusing on Postgres transformation where possible
Build efficient database migration processes across teams
Database Migration and Transformation:
Migrate databases to RDS Postgres primarily from MS SQL and Oracle.
Enable seamless migration and testing for databases from on-prem and Azure to AWS.
Design and implement appropriate production monitoring and alerting in collaboration with the internal teams.
Optimize Postgres Databases for operating in RDS.
