Job Description
Job Summary:
- The Bagger is responsible for assisting customers at checkout by carefully packing groceries and merchandise into bags, offering carry-out service, and maintaining a clean and organized front-end area. The Bagger plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting a smooth checkout experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bag groceries and merchandise efficiently and safely
- Assist customers in carrying bags to their vehicles, if needed
- Keep checkout areas clean, organized, and well-stocked with bags
- Retrieve carts from the parking lot and return them to the store
- Assist with cleaning tasks (sweeping, mopping, restocking front-end supplies)
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service at all times
- Follow store procedures and safety guidelines
- Help restock shelves or perform other tasks as assigned
