Biomedical Engineering Technologist-2080 (Neepawa)

Position Overview: Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Main Function

To provide a secure environment for all patients and staff through the application of approved engineering concepts and repair methods relative to systems used in patient care areas.

Responsibilities

• Daily technical support activities related to equipment and devices used within clinical, allied health and/or support service departments.
• Ensure that all complex medical devices are maintained at a high degree of efficiency to ensure effective, safe care of the patient and safe use for the operator.
