Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Boiler Operator - (Grade 1) to manage and maintain boiler systems to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. You will play a key role in supporting production by ensuring optimal steam generation and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor boiler systems and steam generation equipment
Perform routine inspection of valves, gauges, piping, and controls
Monitor and adjust water, gas, and pressure levels
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler systems
Troubleshoot and repair faulty components (valves, piping, gauges)
Record daily readings (gas, feed water, system performance)
Ensure boiler systems operate safely and comply with regulations
Maintain cleanliness of boiler room and surrounding facilities
Support facility monitoring (e.g. temperature checks for warehouse areas)
Assist maintenance team on mechanical tasks when required
