Overview: The Broadcast Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining state of the art contribution, distribution, and routing platforms for the international news studios in Washington, DC. The individual must have deep knowledge of network principles and Broadcast technologies, Television standards, systems, and all aspects of LAN, WAN and WLAN networks and Network services. Essential Job Functions: • Build and maintain state of the art contribution and distribution platforms for the broadcaster. • Build and maintain cutting edge broadcast network infrastructure for the facility. • Conduct performance and system tests to continuously evolve facility architecture and infrastructure. • Analyze dashboards and constantly optimize system traffic, security and identify bugs in the facility. • Collaborate with vendor product development teams, operational teams, engineering teams to develop long term strategy and implement roadmaps. • Work with broadcast swit...
