About the Role
Reporting to the Manager, Procurement, the Buyer is responsible for leveraging all available supplier-sponsored programs to allocate inventory and process purchase orders for completed sales orders.
Responsibilities
- Allocate inventory and process orders in fulfillment of all sales orders, stock orders, and miscellaneous products.
- Obtain a firm understanding of the public sector programs available to the company and work with internal teams to ensure these programs are fully utilized.
- Obtain a firm understanding of quantity discount programs, free freight programs, and other company supplier-sponsored programs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and company suppliers to assist in resolving any post-submittal issues with purchase orders.
- Maintain and monitor the Ordered Queue.
- Provide data and support on various projects for Purchasing and Procurement when needed.
