About the role
Airswift, on behalf of Keyera, is seeking a Buyer based in Drayton Valley, AB to work in Brazeau and Cynthia, on a 12‑month contract with the possibility of extension. This is a Monday to Thursday 10‑day shift schedule.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle procurement for materials, equipment, and services across operations and capital projects.
- Develop sourcing strategies that support cost, safety, and reliability objectives.
- Manage competitive bidding, vendor selection, and negotiation processes with a strong commercial mindset.
- Administer and support contracts, including service agreements, MSAs, and project‑specific scopes.
- Monitor supplier performance, address risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to forecast needs, align sourcing plans, and resolve supply issues proactively.
