Senior Game Programmer (C++)
My client, a long-established game studio in Helsinki, is seeking a Senior Game Programmer to support a long-running live game built on a proprietary engine. The role requires strong C++ skills, confidence working with large legacy codebases, and the ability to collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain gameplay systems in C++
- Work within a large, complex codebase
- Collaborate with designers, artists, producers, and QA
- Troubleshoot and resolve challenging issues
Qualifications
- Strong professional C++ competence
- 5+ years in a game development environment
- Experience with long-running or legacy codebases
