Job Summary:
Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a CAD Designer 3Dx. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
Retrieve customer supplied data as starting pointInterface with other suppliers, exchanging relevant background dataManage data conversions from other CAD packagesIdea generation/brainstorming – new designs & TVMCompetitive Analysis (benchmarking existing products with similar requirements)Design studies (in CAD) to facilitate packaging, manufacturing process, assembly issues, etc.Maintain project log file that chronicles design changesPrepare relevant data to support customer design reviewsPrepare detail drawingsAssist design and release engineers in support of component part releaseFully onsite positionWhat You Will Need:
