(CAN) Produce Department Manager

Minimum rate of pay: $17.10 per hour.

What you’ll do

1. Receive merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately and monitor it for repair, administer required paperwork, logs and other documentation.
2. Maintain sales‑floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
3. Participate in the recruitment, selection, training and development of all Produce Associates.
4. Lead by example by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions.
5. Complete all aspects of the Produce Store Within A Store (SWAS) planning, attend SWAS meetings to review SWAS reports for food products, orders and sales information, and ensure in‑stock and appropriate inventory levels in the Produce Department by executing all merchandising and re...
