The ICU West at HGH is a 16-bed, level 3 unit known for handling high volumes of cardiovascular surgeries. This pivotal role includes coordinating patient care, adhering to the Standards of Practice for nursing, and managing complex patients while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team environment. You will engage with patients and their families, emphasizing quality and innovative technology.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and evaluate critical patient care
• Provide nursing according to established standards
• Manage patients using ECMO, IABP, and CRRT
• Support Critical Care Response Team as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions

• Current Ontario nursing registration
