Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on expertise in mainframe technologies and solid knowledge of card issuing domain processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and Unix scripting, with a strong understanding of Agile practices and full SDLC execution.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and DB2.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in mainframe systems.
- Optimize mainframe applications for performance, stability, and efficiency.
- Support testing cycles, including defect triage and resolution.
- Participate in release management and deployment activities.
