Title: Care Assistant.Location: The Sidcup Care Home, 2-8 Hatherley Road, Sidcup DA14 4BG.Contract: Permanent, Full Time.Hours: Covering day and night shifts.Salary: £13.10 – £14.10 per hour, depending on experience.CQC rating: Good.Carehome.co.uk rating: 9.6 / 10.
Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements from companionship to personal care.
- Observe and manage residents’ behaviour with care, and document and report any changes in accordance with legislation.
- Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
- Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
- Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.
