Full-Time School Caretaker - Gravesend
Location: Gravesend
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
Pay: £15+ per hour
Academics are currently recruiting for a full-time School Caretaker to join a friendly and supportive school in Gravesend. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Caretaker, Site Assistant, or Facilities Operative looking for a long-term role within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening, securing, and maintaining the school site
- Carrying out general caretaker duties, including basic maintenance and minor repairs
- Completing routine health & safety and site inspections
- Supporting with room setups for school events and activities
- Ensuring the school grounds remain clean, safe, and well maintained
- Assisting staff with ad-hoc site-related tasks
- Liaising with contractors and visitors where required
