Caretaker – Medway
Location: Medway
The caretaker will undertake high‑standard caretaking activities across Medway housing properties. Responsibilities include cleaning, repairs and maintenance in line with safety, quality and cost control standards. The role is field‑based and involves proactive management of preventive maintenance (PPM), safety compliance, fire risk assessments, seasonal upkeep and safety checks.
Contract: Permanent, full time, 42.5 hours per week.
Salary: £28,737.55 per annum plus company van and fuel card.
Requirements
- Experience in caretaking or cleaning
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to use a PDA following training
- Eligibility to drive a company vehicle: minimum age 21, licence held for over 3 months, and less than 9 points
