Catastrophe Claims Advisor

Job Overview

As a Claims Advisor in the Catastrophe Claims Department, you will adjudicate residential and auto catastrophe claims and provide advice and support to customers, ensuring they receive timely and comprehensive service after catastrophic events.

What You'll Do

• Investigate, negotiate and settle both Residential and Auto Catastrophe claims
• Support customer claims from start to finish: open new claims, set up appraisals, assign contractors, generate financial transactions and finalize settlements in a timely manner
• Review inspection reports and estimates to verify that damages are related to the loss; determine when additional inspection is needed
• Follow up with customers on claim status and provide ongoing feedback and support regarding cause of loss and completion of repairs
• When applicable, adjust claims quickly and accurately in accordance with policy coverage to exceed customer expectations
