Job Description
The Chemist I position is responsible for sample preparation and analysis, recording of preparation and analysis methods, sample storage, laboratory maintenance, and sample disposition. The role involves training to become proficient in the preparation and analysis of specific sample types within the Analytical Chemistry Group. Additional responsibilities may be added as required.

+ Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
+ Ensure sample tracking, disposal, and archiving are performed in accordance with established procedures, including the use of the Laboratory Information Maintenance System (LIMS).
+ Maintain laboratory preparation and analytical supplies and equipment.
