Join the West Vancouver Memorial Library as the Head of Technology, a full-time position central to advancing digital services in a vibrant community. Lead strategic planning and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
In this managerial role, you will oversee the Technology Department and guide the library’s digital policy development. Collaboration with community organizations and stakeholders is essential as you adapt library services to fit modern needs. You will report directly to the Director of Library Services.
Key Responsibilities: • Spearhead digital strategy and service assessment • Manage staff overseeing systems and discovery services • Cultivate relationships with external technology partners • Ensure compliance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act • Conduct presentations on technology trends for the Board
