Proactive Personnel Ltd – Class 1 HGV Driver
We are recruiting a long‑term Class 1 role for a client based in Somercotes. This position offers consistent start times, regular hours and a commitment to two nights out per week.
Minimum requirements: 1 year of experience and a valid CPC licence with no more than 6 points.
Responsibilities
- Client facing, reliable and knowledgeable.
- Drive to multiple RDCs across the UK.
- Complete vehicle checks and report defects.
- Liaise with customers and clients in a professional manner.
- Navigate using GPS or other routing systems.
- Work independently and follow instructions accurately.
An average of two nights out per week. No handball and no weekends are required.
Hours
- 04:00 – 06:00 start times.
- Monday to Thursday (Friday is an optional extra shift).
- Between 50 – 60 hours per week.
