Our client, in the logistics field, is seeking a Class 1 Tractor Driver to join their team.
Job Title: Class 1 Tractor Driver
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm
Pay Rate: $27/hour
Responsibilities:
- Drive truck and make deliveries daily using 53ft trailer, 3-ton or 5-ton vehicles
- Ensure representation of the routes to ensure 100% of deliveries daily
- Assist in the facility if needed on each facility stop
- Ensuring that all inspection and maintenance are verified and done on the units and follow the proper guidelines daily
- Maintain and monitor/ track trailer temperature from departure to arrival at Facility to always preserve ambient temperature
- Maintain and complete the truck inspection log daily with samsara fleet
- Maintain a good relationship with colleagues and customers
