Enhance learning and student safety as a Classroom Supervisor with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. This role provides emergency classroom support from September to June.
WCDSB seeks a Classroom Supervisor to temporarily oversee classrooms in both elementary and secondary settings. You will step in when qualified teachers are unavailable, ensuring faith-based learning continuity. Strong classroom management, flexibility, and collaborative skills are essential for maintaining a secure learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Substitute for absent teachers on short notice
• Supervise students in classrooms and outdoor spaces
• Implement effective classroom management strategies
• Collaborate with staff to follow safety protocols
• Respect students' medical and behavioral confidentiality
Requirements:
• Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate required
• Enrollment in Faculty of Education preferred
• Experience supervising children aged 3-18
