Job Description
Labcorp is seeking a **Technologist** to join our team in Metairie, LA.
**Work Schedule:** **Monday – Friday, 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm (may include a weekend rotation)**
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
+ Communicate effectively with client office staff
+ Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems
+ Meet department activity and production goals
+ Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
+ Scrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updated
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology
+ 1 year or more of clinical laboratory experience
