Hybrid Cloud Environment, AWS & Azure Large State Government Department 12 month contract
We are looking for an experienced Cloud & IT Systems Administrator to support and evolve a hybrid cloud environment, with a strong emphasis on AWS platform management, automation, and cloud governance. This role suits a hands-on professional who is comfortable working independently, delivering outcomes, and supporting secure, well-governed cloud services.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting and administering AWS environments across multiple accounts
- Managing identity and access controls, including IAM roles, policies, and federated access
- Maintaining AWS Organisations and governance controls such as SCPs and account policies
- Delivering infrastructure deployments using Terraform and GitHub Enterprise
- Building and maintaining infrastructure templates and automation using CloudFormation, CLI tools, and scripting
