Job Description
Job Duties:
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes) to produce precision metal or plastic parts
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
Load raw materials and secure them properly in the machine
Input program instructions into CNC controls and monitor machine operations
Adjust machine settings (speed, feed rate, depth of cut) as needed
Perform routine quality inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Ensure finished products meet specifications and tolerances
Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and report major issues to maintenance
Change cutting tools and maintain tool inventory
Deburr and finish parts as required
