This role involves supporting or performing basic setups, including loading tools, setting work offsets, and verifying first-piece quality. You will interpret tool paths, offsets, alarms, and program steps to maintain smooth production operations. The role also requires using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and document results, as well as performing basic cleaning, chip removal, coolant checks, and reporting maintenance issues while adhering to safety procedures.
