CNC Miller Programmer / operator

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in Heidenhain controls and/or Hurco. Experience with Visi machining for off-board programming (Vero software) is useful but not essential, as training can be provided. Coming from an automotive tooling background would be beneficial but is not mandatory. The candidate will work with engineering drawings and CAD models, liaise with toolmakers, and plan jobs to maximize cutting times, working alongside an experienced team.

Responsibilities and duties:

• CNC machine bespoke parts for press tool assemblies.
• Manage cutters and stock levels within the department.
• Maximize machine cutting time through effective planning.
• Collaborate with toolmakers to ensure components fit into overall assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of machines and work area.
