Job Description
Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructionsWith assistance, troubleshoots, edits, and optimizes new production programs to ensure efficient overall productionCalculates and sets machine controls to specific work orders and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flowDocument new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimizedObserves operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometersDeburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specificationsFollow all safety policies and proceduresSetup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shopPerform other duties as assigned
