About The Role
The Manufacturing Technician- CNC Optics Manufacturing position is responsible for generating, polishing, and turning of optical components (precision lenses) using CNC Optics and Diamond Turning machines with 2, 3, 4, and NC axes equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex mechanical and optical schematics, ensuring precise execution of assembly, integration and testing procedures
- Execute- Grind, polish, edging, turning and troubleshooting of complex optical components following all established manufacturing processes and procedures in alignment with AS9100 standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot spherical and Aspheric optical components, including but not limited to visible and IR optics, achieving surface form requirements (PV, RMS, AST), and inspection of optical components to drawing requirements <...
