Job Summary
This position is responsible for managing and improving the coatings process and conducting research and tests to develop new coatings.
Required Education And Experience
- University degree in Chemical Engineering and/or 3 - 5 years of experience working in the e-coat/paint facilities
- Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) knowledge
- Knowledge in CAD: 3D Models, Drawings and GD&Ts an asset
- Knowledge of e-coat and powder coat process is an asset
Essential Functions
- Consistently develop, assess and implement continuous improvement projects in relation to current or future project planning.
- Design, develop, and test new coatings systems and chemical titrations
