Compassionate Autism Support Assistant (2 hrs/wk)

Encompass in Hawick is looking for an enthusiastic Personal Assistant to support a 12-year-old girl for 2 hours per week. This role is crucial in providing respite for her mother while helping the child manage her autism and care needs.

The ideal candidate will be kind, caring, and reliable, with experience in managing neurodiverse conditions. You will assist with general care, meal planning, and engage the child in activities she enjoys.

The hourly rate is £14.05, with paid annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks pro rata, and a probationary period of 6 months.
