Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Component Engineer to support the development and lifecycle management of components used in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and PDU (Power Distribution Unit) products.
The role involves evaluating, qualifying, and managing electrical and mechanical components to ensure product reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Component Selection & Qualification
* Identify and evaluate suitable components for new and existing designs.
* Perform technical assessments and risk analysis of components.
* Collaborate with design teams to ensure component compatibility and performance.
Supplier & Lifecycle Management
* Interface with suppliers for technical data, samples, and qualification support.
* Monitor component lifecycle status (e.g., EOL, PCN) and propose alternatives.
